Caleb Williams Steals The Show Once Again

The start of Caleb Williams' season was impressive.

With 278 passing yards and four touchdowns in Saturday's 56-28 rout of San Jose State, the current Heisman Trophy winner shined.

Williams just had a Heisman-winning sophomore season in which he threw for 4,537 yards and 42 touchdowns against five interceptions. Williams is the frontrunner to be the No. 1 choice in the 2024 NFL draft.

Williams demonstrated his willingness and ability to live up to the expectations in the season opener, despite the fact that San Jose State isn't exactly a power-conference club.

At least one ball was caught by twelve different Trojans players, with Tahj Washington leading the way with two catches for 85 yards and a score. Additionally, Zachariah Branch caught four receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown.
After Jordan Addison was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round, USC was given the responsibility of taking his place at the top of the depth chart for wide receivers this season.

As long as Williams remains at the controls, the offense won't lose a beat, if Saturday is any clue.
