Garrett Wilson's Got Hands

The New York Jets were down by seven points to the Buffalo Bills late in the fourth quarter on Monday, and they faced a second-and-goal situation from the four-yard line. After taking the snap from under center, Zach Wilson turned to his left and looked for Wilson on a front-corner fade in the end zone.
The throw appeared destined to go incomplete or, worst perhaps, into Bills CB Tre'Davious White's hands. Garrett Wilson had other thoughts. His right hand extended across his body to volley the ball away from White. White stayed draped over him as he dropped back to the ground and stretched out with the same right hand to grab the ball for a touchdown.
After winning the Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 2022, Garrett Wilson was heralded as one of the NFL's brightest young talents. The first week of the season has gone well so far.
