Jahmyr Gibbs Scores First TD

On Sunday, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who had missed the previous two games against the Detroit Lions due to a hamstring ailment, scored his first NFL touchdown.

Against the Baltimore Ravens, Gibbs received a second-and-1 pitchout from quarterback Jared Goff and raced left for a 21-yard touchdown run.

After rushing for 926 yards and seven touchdowns on 151 runs and catching 44 catches for 444 yards and three touchdowns in his lone season with Alabama in 2022, Gibbs was selected by the Lions with the 12th pick in the NFL Draft on April 27. Gibbs moved from Georgia Tech to play for the Crimson Tide.

Before getting injured, Gibbs ran for 179 yards on 39 rushes and caught 14 catches for 70 yards in Detroit's first four games of the season. With Montgomery out and Lions offense having a bright future, this is only just the beginning for Gibbs.
