Dwyane Wade, a former Miami Heat player and a portion owner of the Utah Jazz, was formally inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday.

In the 2023 HOF class, Wade was joined by Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol, Tony Parker, Becky Hammon, and Gregg Popovich.

Wade's induction into the Hall of Fame was initially announced during the March NCAA tournament final four.

Wade is the first Miami Heat draft pick to be honored in the Hall of Fame. Additionally, he is the first Marquette Golden Eagle to ever be inducted.

Wade had a 16-year NBA career during which he was selected to 13 All-Star teams, 8 All-NBA teams, 3 All-Defensive teams, three NBA championship teams, and a Finals MVP.
