Throughout the summer soccer transfer window, one of the most talked-about subjects was Lionel Messi's arrival to Inter Miami. It now looks that he is one step closer to making his Miami debut.

Prior to the much-anticipated move, the Argentine has finally made it to his new footballing home after leaving the streets of Paris for South Beach.

As the transaction appears to be nearing official confirmation, Messi and his family were seen flying into South Florida on Tuesday.

As he travels through Miami, the 2022 World Cup champion will also be met with a sizable mural of himself that David Beckham, a co-owner of Inter Miami, helped to create.

Victoria Beckham posted videos of the artwork on Instagram Stories. One of the videos showed David Beckham working on the mural with Argentine artist Maximiliano Bagnasco.

Beckham has discussed the significance of the signing of the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner and hasn't tried to disguise his joy about it.

"When I hear that one of the best players — if not the best player — who has won everything in the game, who is still a great player, still young and still doing what he’s doing, wants to play for my team, it’s a massive moment for us (via The Athletic).”

The cheapest ticket for Inter Miami's Leagues Cup game against Cruz Azul on July 21 -- maybe Messi's first match with his new team -- cost just $29, according to resale website TickPick.

The cheapest ticket increased by 1,034% to $329 in the 24 hours following the initial report of Messi's impending transfer, according to TickPick. Definitey some high expectations for Beckham and Messi next year.
