Jalen Williams Has a Bright Future

The Thunder are currently focusing solely on Chet Holmgren, who is solidifying his lead against generational prospect Victor Wembanyama for Rookie of the Year. He has been a vital component of the Thunder's jigsaw and a player of All-Star level.

However, one thing is for sure. Jalen Williams is rising to stardom right in front of our eyes, and he deserves greater recognition. The Thunder's explosive start to the season has been greatly aided by his ascent, and he could be receiving All-Star consideration if it weren't for the media focus surrounding SGA and Holmgren.

In Oklahoma City's decisive victory over the Knicks on Thursday night, Jalen Williams scored a career-high 36 points on 13 of 17 shots and 5 of 5 from three-point range.

There were doubts about Williams' ability to maintain his extremely effective play after the 2022–2023 season. This season, he has been even more productive at a greater volume. He is averaging 18.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 42% from 3-point range on 52.2% of his shots from the field this season. In addition, he has an 87.4% free throw percentage.

Overall, OKC has a legit #2 option next to SGA with Jalen Williams.
