Jalen Williams was chosen twelfth overall in the draft and went on to have an outstanding rookie season, earning him a spot on the All-Rookie First Team.

Williams encountered no rookie wall during his first season. Williams responded to the challenge at every chance and continued to show flashes of a fantastic player.

Sure, Williams may not have as many 20-point games now that his shooting volume is likely to be down, but there's no reason he can't continue to be an effective player who contributes significantly to winning basketball games.

With another draft selection on the way and Holmgren returning to the lineup after missing the first season, Williams will feel less pressure to be consistently fantastic, which may give another layer of comfort to his game and let him play more comfortably.
